The Most Popular Flower of 2021 (So Far)

For those of you who are new here, firstly, welcome! You also need to know about Bridal Builder's handy-dandy Flower Suggestion button on our current app for this post to make sense.

For a recap on how we find out which flowers are most popular in a bouquet, click here. Basically, we collect ideas from brides like you and then put them into a spreadsheet that tells us exactly which flowers you want us to add to our next version of the app!

What is the most popular flower so far?

Obviously, 2021 has barely gotten out of the gate, but since our spreadsheet is divided by year for sanity's sake, I have answers for you. January 2021 users have overwhelmingly craved lilacs in their bouquets. I'd elaborate on that here, but I already wrote a post about using lilacs in your bouquet, so I think I'll avoid being redundant in this post.

The most popular flower of January 2021 is kind of useless information, though, so what's the most popular flower of all time right now? Hydrangea is beating out delphinium and daffodil by a razor-thin margin, if I'm honest. Surprisingly, lilac has risen to the #3 spot as of the time of writing this post.

I really wanted to give you guys an update on the flower suggestion rankings since it's been a number of months since my original post. I'm going to take it easy this week so next week, we can jump back into the spicy world of wedding flowers! (Sarcasm intended.)

Have a wonderful week and don't forget to give Bridal Builder a follow so you can see next week's blog shenanigans!
